Changing the data entered on the travel ticket
The travel ticket purchased by the passenger, whether online, through an agent authorized by Animawings, or via an online aggregator platform, is valid only for the route indicated on it, from the place of departure to the final destination, on the date and for the flight stated on it, and only for the passenger whose name appears on the ticket.
If a passenger wishes to modify their travel details, such as the departure or arrival date, they must contact Animawings or access the reservation using the booking code and last name in order to make the changes themselves, in accordance with the provisions below, in order for the modification to be processed.
Passengers who have received payment confirmation and the electronic ticket are entitled to modify their reservation up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure time of the initial flight, subject to the payment of a modification fee and/or the fare difference, unless otherwise specified. Any modification made by the passenger may lead to a recalculation of the fare. If there is a difference between the initial fare and the new fare, the passenger must pay this difference, as well as all taxes applicable at the time of the modification, unless otherwise specified. The passenger may choose to accept the new fare or keep the original ticket. The rules governing the change of the electronic ticket are detailed in the General Terms and Conditions of Carriage listed on the official website.
CHANGES can be made under the following conditions:
Business Class (classes C, D, I, J, Z, W):
- A maximum of 2 free modifications are permitted; for subsequent modifications, a fee applies.
- The fare difference must be paid at the time of re-issuance.
Economy Class (classes Y, U, M, K, V, T, N, H, E, X, Q, P):
- ONE Package = does not allow any modification or refund
- PLUS Package = allows modification with the application of a fee
- PRIORITY ALL INCLUSIVE Package = allows one free modification; subsequent modifications are subject to an additional fee
- PRIORITY ALL INCLUSIVE PLUS Package = allows one free modification; subsequent modifications are subject to an additional fee
For all packages, payment of any fare difference existing at the time of re-issuance is mandatory (if applicable).
Fixed change fees:
- 50 EUR/segment/person for international routes.
- 25 EUR/segment/person for domestic routes.
For flight tickets purchased through aggregator platforms or travel agencies, any request to modify the reservation must be directed to the partner through which the purchase was made.
Subject to payment of the change fee and other applicable charges, changes to a reservation can be made up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure time of the original flight, irrespective of whether the check-in process has been completed or not. In order to reopen the check-in process, the passenger must contact the Customer Service department at [email protected]. Once the desired changes have been made, the passenger must re-enter the Online check-in process, when and where applicable, and re-issue their boarding pass. The passenger is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements.
In the event of an online change to the booking, any adjustments made will apply to all passengers associated with that booking. In the case where only specific passengers on a booking code require modifications, they must directly contact the Call Centre or Customer Service Department to make such changes.
It is important to note that no further modifications to the travel dates will be allowed if the ticket itinerary contains multiple flight segments and the travel date for any of the segments has already elapsed.
N.B. In the event of a change to the passenger's name due to a minor error, such as the omission of up to three characters or letters or the reversal of names, or due to a change in marital status or administrative error, Animawings will make corrections free of charge. The passenger must inform Animawings as soon as possible by contacting [email protected] or the Call Center and providing supporting documentation. Failure to do so may result in unpleasant situations at the airport.
However, it should be noted that if the reservation needs to be rebooked under a different name, a new ticket must be purchased, as Animawings does not allow name changes to existing bookings.
