23/10/2025 by Animawings / General
Getting ready for your vacation but not sure if you can bring your favorite cream or perfume in your hand luggage? The rules for carrying liquids on board might seem complicated, but once you know them, the process becomes simple and quick.
Here’s a quick overview of the current regulations at the main airports in Romania, so you’ll know exactly what you can take with you when flying with AnimaWings.
Which products are considered “liquids” in your hand luggage
When packing your bags for a flight, it’s good to know that the term “liquids” doesn’t refer only to water or beverages. This category includes all liquids, aerosols, and gels (LAG), as well as other products with a similar consistency — even if they appear solid or semi-solid.
To make it easier, here are some useful examples:
- Liquids – water, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, syrups
- Aerosols – spray deodorant, hairspray, hair mousse
- Gels – shower gel, hair gel, cream, lotion, foundation, mascara
- Other items with a similar consistency (classified as LAG) – soup, honey, yogurt, sour cream, hummus, mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, cream cheese, eggplant or fish roe salad, protein shakes, jam, compote
The rules for carrying these items may vary depending on the airport of departure and the security technology used. That’s why it’s recommended to check the specific conditions of your departure airport before your flight, for a smooth and worry-free boarding experience.
