AnimaWings, the official airline partner of Sports Festival, brings sports fans to Cluj-Napoca through special flights from Bucharest and Iași

AnimaWings, the 100% Romanian airline company, becomes the Official Airline Partner of Sports Festival, the largest mass-participation multi-sport event in Romania, taking place between June 11–14, 2026, in Cluj-Napoca. This year’s edition highlights one of the most emotional moments in Romanian sports: the official retirement match of Simona Halep.
To meet the increased interest generated by the festival, AnimaWings will operate special dedicated flights between June 11–15, 2026, on the following routes:
- Bucharest – Cluj-Napoca (June 11, 12 and 13)
- Cluj-Napoca – Bucharest (June 14 and 15)
- Iași – Cluj-Napoca – Iași (June 13–15), the only direct connection between the two cities.

Sports Festival annually brings together more than 150,000 participants and features internationally renowned athletes, competitions, sports demonstrations, activities for the whole family, and inspirational sessions dedicated to performance, health, and an active lifestyle. Sports Festival 2026 will also host a series of discussions with sports legends, psychologists, and key figures involved in the sports industry as part of the Sports Talks series, alongside special experiences dedicated to the general public and sports communities. This year’s edition will bring face-to-face with the audience Nadia Comăneci, Simona Halep, Elina Svitolina, Gaël Monfils, Andrei Pavel, and other great athletes from Romania and around the world.
