Pregnant Women

Pregnant passengers may travel on AnimaWings flights under the following conditions:

  • Up to 32 weeks of pregnancy, travel is permitted without medical documentation, provided the pregnancy is uncomplicated.
  • From 32 weeks until the end of the 36th week of pregnancy, or up to three weeks before the expected delivery date, whichever occurs first, passengers must present a medical certificate issued by a gynecologist or attending physician.

The medical certificate must:

  • be issued no more than 72 hours before departure;
  • confirm that the passenger is fit for air travel;
  • specify the expected delivery date;
  • cover the entire travel period, including the return flight, if applicable.

For multiple pregnancies (e.g. twins or triplets), air travel is permitted only until the end of the 32nd week of pregnancy, subject to the same medical certification requirements.

AnimaWings does not accept pregnant passengers for travel after the end of the 36th week for single pregnancies or after the end of the 32nd week for multiple pregnancies. No exceptions are accepted beyond these limits and until delivery.

For safety reasons, pregnant passengers may not be seated in emergency exit rows or in the rows immediately in front of or behind emergency exit rows.

More recommendations from us:
  • We recommend that you take as light a carry-on bag as possible to avoid carrying a lot of weight. Also, do not hesitate to ask AnimaWings crew for help in handling your baggage on board the aircraft.
  • Don't forget to hydrate and if you feel you need water, ask the crew to help you do so. On board our aircraft drinks are provided free of charge to all AnimaWings passengers.
  • Your safety and your baby's are important. So, you can fasten your seatbelt under your tummy.
  • Dress as comfortably as possible. It's important that your outfit allows you as much flexibility as possible during the flight, especially since you'll be sitting for a long time.

Don't forget to take your medical certificate with you and follow your doctor's advice for a safe and comfortable journey!
