Pregnant Women
Expectant mothers are welcome on board AnimaWings aircraft up to the end of the 36th week of pregnancy. For safety reasons, AnimaWings requires a certificate issued by a specialist/gynecologist no earlier than 7 days before the travel date for flights operated between the 34th and 36th weeks of pregnancy. This document must confirm that the pregnancy is normal and that there are no restrictions for air travel. The medical certificate must be issued no more than 72 hours before the flight and must cover the entire travel period. The certificate must include: the gestational age, the estimated due date, confirmation that the pregnancy is without complications, the doctor’s full name and phone number, and confirmation that the passenger is fit to travel by air on the date and flight corresponding to her booking.
For safety and security reasons, pregnant women may NOT select emergency exit seats or adjacent rows (in front
of or behind emergency exit rows). During Check-in at the airport, please go directly to the counter without
queuing, as pregnant women have priority.
More recommendations from us:
- We recommend that you take as light a carry-on bag as possible to avoid carrying a lot of weight. Also, do not hesitate to ask Animawings crew for help in handling your baggage on board the aircraft.
- Don't forget to hydrate and if you feel you need water, ask the crew to help you do so. On board our aircraft drinks are provided free of charge to all Animawings passengers.
- Your safety and your baby's are important. So, you can fasten your seatbelt under your tummy.
- Dress as comfortably as possible. It's important that your outfit allows you as much flexibility as possible during the flight, especially since you'll be sitting for a long time.
Don't forget to take your medical certificate with you and follow your doctor's advice for a safe and comfortable journey!
