Special Baggage

Sports equipment, golf equipment and bicycles can be carried in the hold of the aircraft as checked baggage for a fee. For more information, please refer to the section Sports Equipment and Bicycles.

Musical instruments: Each passenger may bring one musical instrument (such as guitar, violin, mandolin, trumpet, etc.) on board in the cabin, in a secure hard case, if it measures a maximum of 56x45x25cm (126cm in total: length + width + height), if it weighs no more than 12 kg, and if the passenger is not travelling with a Carry-On Bag. The musical instrument will be considered the equivalent of the Carry-On Bag.

Musical instruments that exceed the cabin baggage allowance may be transported in the cabin by reserving and purchasing one or more additional seats, as required. When transported on an additional seat, the instrument must be properly secured to the seat, appropriately packed, and must not exceed 110 × 60 × 33 cm and 32 kg per seat.
